Collin
County is rich with opportunities to observe birds. The
Heard Sanctuary is host to more then 200 species during the year.
Some are year-round residents. Some nest during spring and summer. Some
winter in our (relatively) warm climate. And others merely stop for a
few days during spring and fall migration.
